Moraca Monastery is one of the most monumental Serbian medieval monuments of Montenegro. It was built on the right bank of river Moraca in the extended part of the canyon, on the natural plateau landscape in the municipality Kolašin. Moraca temple was founded in 1252 by Stephen, son of King Vukan grandson of Stefan Nemanja, which is mentioned in the inscription above the entrance portal.
